S & D Drilling Inc. (S & D) was founded in Sackville, Nova Scotia in 2001, based on client demand; we began offering services in geotechnical and environmental drilling.

S & D has customized and designed equipment to meet our clients needs. We have 10 drills that range in various sizes including a variety of smaller drills that provide options for low clearance and confined space drilling services.

Since the beginning S & D has completed over 800 projects in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We have a staff of ten people including three drillers, four helpers, one mechanic and two management personnel. We are located in our new shop facility at Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia.

S & D is motivated to make your job easier. Our staff can provide you with detailed data to help you plan your job or pick the best type of drill in our fleet to meet the specific requirements for that job

Our drill crews are usually a two man crew that are motivated, enthusiastic and take pride in their work. We stress to our employees that teamwork and strong communication with our clients remain an important focus for our company.

Safety is highly valued at S & D Drilling. We are proud to be NSCSA certified. We are also in good standing with the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia and are environmentally insured. Our clients trust that we will ensure the safety of the public and employees and take measures to protect the environment on all our drilling projects.
